Request a feature
A lot of ideas go into Evance. Got one? We'd like to hear from you.
First, check the feature does not already exist
Feature list
Evance has a growing feature list, which expands with every release. If you are unsure whether a feature already exists check out our feature list.
Manuals
If you have an idea, but are not sure how to achieve it with the existing features in evance check our User Manuals and Guides to see if it may already be possible.
The process
We've had some fantastic feedback from members.
It's this interaction that's driving us forward.
The Feature Request process
Azexis maintain a comprehensive "to do" list for Evance. Feature requests from Evance members are entered into a wish list and are evaluated on their individual merits.
All you need to do is...
-
Go to our Contact form
-
Complete your contact details
-
Enter "Evance feature request" followed by a description of your idea, or details about the limitation you have experienced with Evance.
If a request passes evaluation and is accepted we'll make you aware, but unfortunately we won't be able to tell you when the feature will be developed as we'll have to schedule it into the Evance roadmap.
We'll enter your request into our roadmap and will contact you when the feature has been a) entered into the Evance roadmap, b) the estimated release date.
How are requests evaluated?
We evaluate requests on a case by case basis and will consider the following factors:
-
Does the feature already exist?
We'll tell you if you can achieve the desired outcome using the existing features in Evance. However if we believe an alternative or better solution may be developed, your feature may also be entered into the roadmap . -
Is the feature useful to other members?
Most business processes can be generalised. If this is the case your request may be useful to other members. If this is the case your request is likely to be accepted. -
Does it require integration with 3rd parties?
Integration with 3rd party software represents an ongoing commitment. We'll evaluate the benefits and investment requirements of the feature.
-
What are the architectural requirements?
If Evance accepts your feature request the architectural requirements will govern how long it takes to implement the feature into Evance.
